Exchange Polygonica Bridge for Polygonica 1.0 to 3.1

Polygonica is a powerful mesh processing toolkit used for preparing data for 3D printing. It only supports a few standard file formats. HOOPS Exchange can read over 30 different CAD file formats.

This set of C++ classes load a CAD file using HOOPS Exchange, extracts all the triangles from the data and maps them into a Polygonica PTSolid object. From here, a developer can use any one of Polygonica’s APIs to heal, Boolean, simplify, hollow, or thicken to prepare the mesh for 3D printing.

Together HOOPS Exchange and Polygonica make a great pair of SDKs for additive manufacturing and other engineering workflows.
